Rivers are said to be one of the most precious natural resources of Bangladesh and contribute lotto her agro-based economy. Besides, rivers of Bangladesh are the constant Source of protein. Importance of rivers in the economy of Bangladesh is immense. The Government of Bangladesh has adopted a good number of policies following the laws Passed by the Parliament in the relevant field. Still the rivers are gelling contaminated day By day through industrial effluents indiscriminately. Industrial units across the country Discharge their effluents to the rivers directly and indirectly. This harms the riverine Environment. The objective of this research is to examine the related laws and tender Recommendations to that effect
